Who is NOT a candidate for GLP-1 weight loss medications?
GLP-1 medications (such as semaglutide or tirzepatide) are not suitable for everyone. You may not qualify if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant. These medications are also not recommended for individuals with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2).
If you have a history of pancreatitis, severe gastrointestinal conditions, or certain medical conditions, our provider will need to evaluate you carefully before approval. Additionally, all patients must be 18 years or older and complete a medical evaluation before starting treatment.
Our licensed provider will review your medical history during your consultation to determine if this treatment is safe and appropriate for you.
What happens if I pay for my plan but the doctor does not approve me?
We will issue a refund within 3–5 business days, with a $50 fee retained for the doctor’s evaluation.
What happens after my 30 day supply?
You will receive a reminder from our pharmacy about a week before your medication is finished. Please call or text us at 323-312-3007 to request your refill. Pricing may vary depending on your dose increase, and the exact cost depends on each individual. When you reach out, we’ll let you know how much the price may change based on your dose.
I prefer something natural or organic—what are my options?
GLP treatments mimic a natural hormone your body already produces to regulate hunger. They are not considered organic, but they are designed to support your body’s natural functions in a controlled and effective way.
